Born in Brighton, MA, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Ethel (Herman) Neudel, she lived in Warwick, Rhode Island for 10 years, before moving to Kent Regency in 2024. She held a degree in Stenotyping and was a court stenographer for Mass State who was often asked to stenotype for the Alcohol Commission by the Attorney General in the 1970’s. Born in Providence, Phyllis was a daughter of the late Maurice and Celia (Mills) Fleisig, she had lived in Providence for most of her life prior to moving to Johnston in 2022. Mills Sisters Dress Shop was originally started in 1940 by Phyllis’ mother, Celia, after her mother’s passing, the store was passed to Phyllis who continued to operate the store for 10 years, closing in 1996.
