DATELINE: Providence Brown, B. David, 97, of Summit Commons, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at the Commons. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Bedrick) Brown. Born in New York, NY, a son of the late Samuel and Sadie (Karg) Brown, he had lived in Warwick for 17 years before moving to Providence. He previously lived in Teaneck, NJ and Arizona. David was a graduate of Fairleigh-Dickenson University in Teaneck, NJ. He was a stockbroker for the former Bache & Co., now Prudential Securities, for 26 years, retiring in 1977.
