DATELINE: PROVIDENCE Stein, Anita, 95, of Wingate on the Eastside, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Stein.  Born in Brighton, MA, a daughter of the late Louis and Annie Bernstein, she was a longtime resident of Providence. Grant, Edith E., 93, of Riverdale, NY, previously of Cranston, died peacefully, Sunday, 12/25/16, at the Atria of Riverdale.Born in New York City, a daughter the late Isidore and Sonia ( Kittas) Engelson, she was a 50-year resident of of Cranston. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Harold, and her son, Donald. She is survived by her son, Michael, daughter-in-law, Joan, and grandchildren, Steven and Allison.
