Born in Providence, RI, a son of the late William and Tillie (Jacobs) Korman, he had lived in North Attleboro for over 50 years, previously living in Warwick, RI. He was a manufacturing engineer at General Electric Co., Wiring Devices Dept. until retirement. He also taught plastic engineering courses at Brown University and Rhode Island State.
