Born in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and Anita (Berman) Friedman. She lived in East Providence the last 3 years, although she considered Newport her home, where she resided for 42 years. Anita had an MSW and was a mental health counselor with her own practice, Prevention Counseling Services, in Newport and East Providence for over 30 years, retiring in 2013. Adrian Jerome Horovitz, 93, of Oaklawn Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a devoted husband to the late Deborah (Berman) Horovitz, and they were married for sixty-three years. Adrian lived in Cranston, Rhode Island, for 68 years. Adrian was born in Providence to Morris and Dena (Delerson) Horovitz. He graduated from Hope High School in 1950 and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1954.
