DATELINE: CUMBERLAND David Zalman Halpert, 50, passed away March 22, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Melissa A. (DeCecco) Halpert.  He was the beloved child of Robert and Naomi Halpert.  He was the devoted father of Kayla F. Halpert and Zachary P. Halpert; son -in -law of Philip and Paula DeCecco. She was the beloved wife of the late Morris Bernstein for 55 years.  She was born in Providence, daughter of the late David and Bessie Lerner.  Before moving to Cranston in 1950, she was a graduate of the old Hope High School In her early years she worked as a legal secretary. Rozovsky, a lawyer nationally recognized for championing the rights of medical patients, and also an author, teacher, patron of Providence College and passionate fan of the New York Yankees, died March 4 at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, after a valorous three-year battle with bile duct cancer.
