Patricia Louise Zacks, 80, died peacefully at home in Providence on Sunday, January 25, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Michael Zacks and the devoted mother of Tamatha Carbone, of Ft. Lauderdale. The Villages, FL Smith, Irving A., 91, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Cornerstone Hospice in the Villages, FL. He was the beloved husband of the late Eilene Helfand. Born in Worcester, MA, he was a son of the late Eli and Beatrice (Shulman) Smith, he had lived in Florida for two years, previously living in Warwick. Irv was a member of the Navy serving in the Korean War, he spent time on a destroyer sailing from Canada to the Caribbean for the near entirety. Irv was a sign fabricator and later opened ABC Sign Company with his wife Eilene, after her passing, Irv took a step back from the sign business and moved in with his daughter, Nancy Jackson. He occasionally performed per diem work filing permits and receiving proper authorization until 2023....

Mill Valley, CA Feld, Charlotte Goldman, age 100, died peacefully on January 28, 2026. Charlotte was born January 17, 1926, growing up in South Providence with her late parents, J. Samuel and Gussie Goldman, and seven siblings. She met her husband, Ben Feld, at a Rosh Hashanah dance, and settled in Warwick, RI where they raised their 2 children. They co-founded Temple Beth Am, she volunteered in the temple gift shop and with cancer survivors, and was a 62 year survivor of breast cancer. Charlotte loved traveling, calligraphy, painting, bowling, music boxes, scrabble, seahorses, and monkeys. She was still a whiz at crossword puzzles until her late 90s. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bernard and Beatrice (Garfinkel) Schneider. Joyce was a bench jeweler for many years, while she enjoyed the creative freedoms of the job, later she joined Ross Simons as a jewelry consultant who specialized in customer success and retention through her friendly service and warm demeanor. In the early 70’s Joyce moved to Warwick and was a proud resident for over 55 years, she and Aaron raised their sons to be committed members of their community. WARWICK Joel Robinson, Esq., 88, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Hope Health Hospice. Born in Providence, a son of the late Fred and Fannie (Kohn) Robinson. A lifelong Rhode Islander, Joel graduated from Hope High School, class of 1955; He continued on to the University of Rhode Island receiving his bachelors degree, then swiftly received his LLB from Boston University in 1961. After joining the RI Bar Association, he served Rhode Island for nearly 55 years specializing in real estate, family law and creditors rights, retiring in 2012.
