Rhoda was a feisty and sassy woman! I always enjoyed chatting with her at Tamarisk. Her love for her dogs was all consuming. She was a force to be reckoned with.

My sincere condolences. I worked with Rhoda in the very early days of my career and she was a force of nature. We had many laughs and she always spoke lovingly about her family. May she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the family of Rhoda.
I met Rhoda many years ago when a got a job at Paramount Restaurant Supply Co. Rhoda was out on sick leave but I kept hearing about this “crazy” woman who everyone loved. Well when I finally got to meet her we became fast friends. There was a big age difference between her and I but that didn’t matter. We developed a great friendship and I loved Rhoda like a sister. On the weekends we would get lobsters and go back to her tiny apartment on Angel Street and cook them, make cocktails and play loud music and dance. We traveled together to Montreal, Jamaica and Miami (where we met Mahmoud Ali and he did magic tricks for us and signed autographs) . On that trip we had Miriam with us and she kept right up with us (another amazing woman). We kind of lost track of each other, I got married and had a family but I did talk to her a few times after that. I will always remember the good times we had.
Rest in peace my old drinking buddy.

Rhoda, I will truly miss your sassy spirit and the special love you had for my dog, Luna. Luna always loved coming to Tamarisk Senior Living to visit you and shower you with all of her doggie kisses. Your warmth, personality, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed. Rest peacefully, Rhoda. ❤️
