DATELINE: EAST GREENWICH Salk, Marilyn, 85, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Burton Salk. Born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late David and Frances (Cohen) Altman, she had lived in Warwick since 1983, previously living in Cranston. She was a social worker for DCYF for 24 years, retiring in 1996.  Marilyn was a former member of Temple Torat Yisrael, a member of B’nai B’rith, and a past president and life member of Hadassah. She was also a member for the Cranston Senior Guild and a board member for the American Cancer Society.  She was a graduate of Girls Latin High School in Boston and Providence College, Class of 1977. Lisa J. Libis

Lisa J. Libis, age 55 passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on March 23, 2016, after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer.  Lisa was a graduate of Keen State College in NH and she resided in Warwick, RI for the past 9 years.   Her greatest joy was being a loving and devoted Mother to her three beautiful children, Isaac, Samuel and Luciana Libis. She is also survived by her second family, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Catano of Goffstown, New Hampshire, their children Katherine and Nicholas Catano, the Father of her children, Carl Libis and his wife Sandi of West Greenwich, RI.  She was dearly loved by her Cancer Sisters from the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, Friends from the Kent County YMCA and many others who have had the joy of knowing her....

Harold Schwartz

SCHWARTZ, HAROLD, 88, of Sarasota, FL and Cranston, RI, passed away on March 20, 2016.  He was the beloved husband of Lillian (Newman) Schwartz for 63 years.  Born in Providence, a son of the late Louis and Mary Schwartz, he had lived in Sarasota for the last 11 years, and had previously lived in Pawtucket and Providence.  Harold was the devoted father of Michael Schwartz (Cynthia) and Bobbie Friedman (Brian).  He was the loving grandfather of Matthew Schwartz. DATELINE: WARWICK Fain, Robert, 77, died Wednesday, March 2 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Toby (Lemelman) Fain for 32 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Irving and Sara (Brainson) Fain, he had lived in Providence his entire life. Robert was a graduate of the Moses Brown School in 1956, and a graduate of Babson College. He was the founder of Fain Financial Services with a CLU designation for 45 years, retiring in 2010.
