DATELINE: PROVIDENCE Finn, Samuel “Mickey”, 73, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Coventry Skilled Nursing. Born in Providence, a son of the late David and Esther (Greenberg) Finn, he had lived in Wakefield, previously living in Cranston. He was the owner of Footsteps Shoe Store for 12 years. Mickey was a Viet Nam Army veteran, with the 25th Infantry Division, receiving the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, and Viet Nam Service Medal. DATELINE: PROVIDENCE Samdperil, Ruth (Matzner), 86, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at her home in Providence, RI. Ruth was the wife of the late Charles Samdperil. They were married for 54 years.  Born and raised in Providence, Ruth was the daughter of the late Joseph and Celia (Sack) Matzner.  Ruth is survived by her four children: Stephen (Robin) Samdperil, Debra (Phyllis) Samdperil, Terry (Michael) Schuster, and Karyn (Jay) Rosenfield.
