Carl Lazareff

Lazareff, Carl, 92, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Loraine (French) (Vertefeille) Lazareff. Born in Providence, a son of the late Morris and Rose (Yankelevitz) Lazaroff, he had lived in Warwick for 40 years, previously living in Providence.  He worked for the former Construction Battalion Center in Davisville.  Carl was a WW-II Army veteran, serving in the 5^th Army in North Africa and Italy.  Step-father of Doug French and his wife, Donna, of Warwick, Brad French of Warwick, and the late Mallory and Pamela French.  Dear brother of the late Louis Lazaroff and Mollie Feldman.  Cherished uncle of 6 nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Red Cross, 105 Gano St, Providence, RI 02906.  Shiva will be private.
