    Dearest Jon,

My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. She was such an amazing woman and I always admired her. She was the mom who was “ahead of her time.” There wasn’t anything she was afraid to tackle, and she accomplished so, so much. Additionally, our collective family connection runs deep, going all the way back to our grandparents. My fondness for the Herz family remains in my heart. I wish you comfort during this difficult time. May your mom rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing.

    With love & sympathy,
    “As Always”
    Kara

I worked with Susette for many years in Cranston, from the very beginnings of the senior center, and through its planning, construction and operation. She was a ‘force to be reckoned with’. Smart, creative, deeply committed to helping others, and funny. She had very high standards, but always for the benefit of the public that she served so well, and for so many years. Her legacy lives on in that center, and she will be greatly missed by so many. Including me.
My deepest sympathies to her children, grandchildren, and other family and friends.

I have memories of your Mom when we were colleagues. We collaborated on projects when she lead VICs and CSS. I can still here her name being called at CSS. She was a dedicated, passionate perfectionist and I loved our time together. She made her mark on this planet, that’s all any of us can hope for.
    My deep sympathy.
