Audrey M. Falk

DATELINE: NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA

Falk, Audrey M., 89, died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at home.  She was the beloved wife of the late James Falk. Born in Bayonne, NJ, a daughter of Nathan Brush and Mollie Goldberg, she was a longtime resident of North Dartmouth.  She was a substitute elementary teacher in the New Bedford school system for 15 years, retiring in 1993.  Audrey attended Lesley College of Cambridge, MA.  She was a member of Congregation Tifereth Israel and its Sisterhood, Hadassah, and National Council of Jewish Women.  Devoted mother of Deborah Augarten and her husband, Alan, of Scarsdale, NY and the late Nathan Diamond-Falk, survived by his wife, Judi, of Evanston, IL and the late William “Billy” Falk. Dear sister of the late Jerome Brush.  Loving grandmother of Brian, Kathryn, Emily, Steven, Abigail, Benjamin, Jonathan and Alex. Cherished great grandmother of Zevon, Oliver and Veronica. Graveside services will be held Monday at 12 noon in Plainville Cemetery, 1400 Old Plainville Road, New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004. Shiva will be observed at 14 Colonial Way, North Dartmouth on Monday from 5-8 p.m.

    Debbie and family,
    My heartfelt condolences in the passing of Audrey.
    I have so many wonderful memories of our friendship Debbie and of your parents. I hope someday soon we can get together and catch up. So much life has happened since we last saw each other.
