Gouse, Nathaniel B., 97, of 455 Meshanticut Valley Pkwy., #216, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Tema (Pomrenze) Gouse. They were married for 67 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Harry and Jennie (Holiver) Gouse, he had lived in Cranston for 14 years, previously living in Providence.  He was a chemical engineer for Foxboro Co. for 25 years, retiring 30 years ago. Nathaniel was a WW-II Navy veteran, serving stateside. He was a graduate of URI, Class of 1940. Devoted father of Neil D. Gouse and his wife, Karen, of Peabody, MA and Allen S. Gouse and his wife, Cheryl, of Glastonbury, CT. Dear brother of the late Norma Goldman and Rosalind Brier. Loving grandfather of Courtney, Rebeka and Lauren.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Shiva will be observed at his late residence Monday 6-8 p.m.
