Goldman, Carole F., 77, of Cranston, RI passed away peacefully October 2, 2015 in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Hyman Goldman for 59 years. Born in Providence, daughter of the late Robert and Ida (Dubin) Fields, she was a resident of Cranston for 40 years. Carole was a much adored teacher in the Dighton-Rehoboth, MA School District for over 20 years. She was a graduate of the URI Class of ’58. Carole achieved her Life Master in bridge. She was a member of Temple Torat Yisrael and Hadassah. Devoted mother of Marion Wainer and her husband Henry of Dartmouth, MA and Richard Goldman and his wife Loren of Cumberland, RI. Dear sister of the late June Shaw. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Jamie, Allie, Sara and Seth. Cherished aunt of Susan Shaw Bridgefarmer of Barrington and the late Peter Shaw. At the family’s request, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to your charity of choice. Shiva will be private.

    Carol was a remarkable person. She had a positive view of life and made others feel valued. She will be missed a lot.

    Hy, So very sorry to hear of your dear wife’s death. Bruce and I always enjoyed being with you and Carole but of course since we have not seen you for a long time had no knowledge of an illness. Know that my prayers are at your side in such a terrible time. Sincerely, Lois Lang
