Engle, Bernice H., 79, of Cranston, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bobby” S. Engle. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Isaac “Chuck” and Lillian (Alberts) Chorney, she had lived in Cranston for 55 years. Bernice was a member of Temple Sinai and its Sisterhood, ORT and Miriam Hospital Women’s Association.  Devoted mother of Howard (Milly) Engle and Susan (Edward) Odessa. Adored grandmother of Brooke, Benton and Bianca and step-grandmother of Mark and Miranda. Cherished step-great-grandmother of Myles and Dasani. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in TEMPLE SINAI, 30 Hagen Ave., Cranston 02920. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Temple Sinai Minyan Breakfast, c/o Temple Sinai. Shiva will be observed at the home of Edward and Susan Odessa, 89 Faunce Dr., Providence, Sunday through Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
