Although it was difficult to see my mother’s final health struggles, somehow she handled the indignities of age with grace, never losing her interest in the families well being. She missed her husband of 72 years, James, who passed away several years ago, also at 98 years of age. She dreamed of him nightly, and looked forward to re-joining him. I miss you, mom.
