Claire Toye

Toye, Claire, 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at West View Health Center.  She was the beloved wife of the late David J. Toye. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Leo and Annie (Krovitz) Spaniel, she had lived in Dayville, CT for 8 years, previously living in Warwick and East Providence.  Claire enjoyed cooking, crochet, canasta, mah jongg, and bingo.  Devoted mother of Deborah West and her husband, Jeff, of Rumford, RI and Barbara Langlois and her husband, Bill, of Dayville, CT.  Dear sister of the late William Spaniel and Barbara Bazar.  Loving grandmother of Scott Langlois and his wife, Kerry, David Langlois and his fiancé, Lynn Gilman, Jeffrey West, Jr. and his wife, Kristi, and Ashley West and her husband, Danny Carpenter.  Cherished great-grandmother of Ellie Langlois, Colton West, Landon West, and Jacob Gilman. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to JSA/JERI (Jewish Seniors Agency/Jewish Eldercare of RI), 100 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 or your favorite chaity.  Guests are invited to visit with the family at the Crowne Plaza, 801 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, Friday 4-8 p.m.
