Bristol Herbert Ezra Sackett, 96, of Bristol passed away of natural causes on October 10, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong Rhode Islander, he graduated from Hope High School in 1946 and from Rhode Island State College in 1950 with a degree in business administration.  Along the way, he made many lifelong friends. His involvement in the family greeting card business began at 13 years old. Founded by his father, Morris, Sackett’s Greeting Cards was one of the first postcard and greeting card specialty stores in the Northeast. East Greenwich Hill, Karyn Jill, 51, died at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Born in New Haven, CT, she was the beloved daughter of Dr. Jerrold and Gloria (Newman) Lehrman, she had lived in East Greenwich for eighteen years, previously living in Lincoln, RI. Karyn attended Cheshire High School in Cheshire, CT, graduating in 1992, she continued to Ithaca College in New York where in 1996, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. Schneider, Beverly Gorden

Narragansett Schneider, Beverly Gorden, 77, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Alan Schneider. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Glassman) Gorden, she had lived in Narragansett, RI for 8 years, previously living in Warwick, RI. She was a gifted student who graduated a year early in 1964 from Pilgrim High School in Warwick, she continued on to attend Johnson and Wales, and then moved to Washington, D.C. where Beverly studied at the George Washington University. In the late 1960s she went to work on Capitol Hill in the offices of Senator Claiborne Pell and Congressman Edward Beard, among several other lawmakers.
