Born May 5th, 1923 in Providence, the daughter of the late Herman and Rebecca Kortick Abrams. Hope was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving in Washington, DC using the skills acquired at Bryant and Pembroke Colleges. She was a charter member of the Cranston-Warwick chapters of Hadassah and served as chairman and President for two years earning the prestigious Woman of Valor Award in 1964.
