Milton “Mickey” Pierce

DATELINE: BOYNTON BEACH Pierce, Milton “Mickey”, 89, founder of Colorlith Corp., passed peacefully at home in Boynton Beach, FL.  Formerly of Warwick, he is survived by his wife, Betty-Ann, daughter Mindy Pierce of Greenville, son Larry Pierce, daughter-in-law Jennifer Pierce, & grandson, Max Pierce of Scituate.   Mickey was born in Providence and graduated from Mt Pleasant HS. He attended URI and earned a BA in Business.  He was on the URI wrestling team and won several competition medals. In 1963 he founded the successful printing and photography business, Colorlith Corp., in Johnston.  Mickey was a tireless man with vast interests and accomplishments. Barbara L. Shulkin

DATELINE: CRANSTON Shulkin, Barbara L., 85, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center.  She was the beloved wife of Irwin Shulkin for 62 years.  Born in Lynn, MA, a daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Litvack) Tobin, she was a longtime resident of Cranston and Boynton Beach.  She worked as a social worker for the City of Lynn, MA for Department of Elderly Affairs but her most important job was being a full time mother. Barbara was a former member of Temples Torat Yisrael and Sinai.  Devoted mother of Lori Lowinger and her husband, Daniel, of Cranston and the late Nancy Shulkin Rabinowitz.  Dear sister of the late Richard Tobin.  Loving grandmother of Nicholas.  Beloved aunt and friend to many. DATELINE: WARWICK Beranbaum, Irma, 62, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, a daughter of Lenore (Kwasha) Beranbaum and the late Nathan Beranbaum, she was a longtime resident of Warwick. She was a hairdresser for 40 years and owner of Meme Frizzae.
