Edel will forever be in my heart. Cherished memories I am grateful for. I have been blessed by her example of strength, courage, generosity and faith. I’ll miss her sense of humor. I can hear her laugh in my heart. She had great love for her family and treated me as her own. She loved her dogs and her sweet Pukee lived better than most humans. I’m a better person because I knew her. I love her.

Prayers for David and Michael and their families from mine.

I worked with Edel as her supervisor at Child Protection in Rapid City until she left the agency. I was sad to learn of her death but I am grateful that she had her family with her while she battled cancer. I appreciated Edel’s strength and commitment to the families that she served. She taught me how to persevere and how to be proud of one’s beliefs. My sympathies to the family.
