Feldman, Philip, 87, of 691 Orleans Court, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Wolf) Feldman for 41 years. Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Louis and Bessie (Newman) Feldman, he had lived in Warwick for 36 years. Phil was the co-owner with his brother George of the former Feldman Furniture Store in Pawtucket for over 60 years, retiring in 1993. He was a WW-II Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. Phil was a member of Temple Am David and he attended URI. Phil was a founding member of Crestwood Country Club and a member of Metacomet Country Club. Devoted father of Linda Solomon and her husband Marc of Boca Raton, FL and Donna Feldman of Denver, CO. Dear brother of George Feldman and his wife, Jeanne, of Cranston and the late Sydney and Saul Feldman. Loving grandfather of Ilana Solomon. Cherished son-in-law of Charlotte (Wolf) Gorodetsky of Boca Raton, FL. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Temple Am David, 40 Gardiner St., Warwick, RI 02888 or Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. Shiva will be observed at his late residence, Thursday 7-9, Friday 2-4 and Saturday 7-9 p.m.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Please take comfort from God’s word at(Isaiah 25:8 which says,God will swallow up death forever;Revelation 21:4 says God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away;Romans 15:33 says May the God who gives peace be with you all.Amen. You all are in my heart and prayers.God does answer prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss and the passing of Uncle Phil. I have deep and long-lasting memories of the good times I shared with him growing up and working in “the store.” Great memories are what sustain us during times like this. I will always cherish them.
