Irwin was a kind, thoughtful, humble and sweet man. It was my honor and pleasure that I was able to serve with him for many years at Hebrew Senior Life (HSL). His company and humor were enjoyed by many. He will be missed.

Dear Silver family, I am so sorry for your loss. Irwin was my class leader at LLAIC and he always made his movie class so interesting. May memories of Irwin and Lois always be for a blessing.

Maxine and I and our office colleagues were saddened to hear the news. We go way back to when I joined our office in 1975. I think early on we became friends. We went to Legal Seafoods up the street at least 1-2 times a week and Barry’s Deli for a great corned beef sandwich. We passed each other on route 9 all the time on the way into the office, but I could never keep up with him weaving in and out like Parnelli Jones! We gave some public seminars together and the highlight and extremely successful CPA getaway weekends. Irwin, Lois olavashalom joined Maxine and I at a colleague’s wedding in Detroit, celebrated together at Jeffrey & Robbie’s weddings, as well as with us at Jamie and Ira’s Bat & Bar Mitzvahs. Wonderful memories.
We missed him when he moved to R.I. but being close to Ally made the most sense. Shalom our friend.

I will always remember Irwin for his great kindness, hard work, wonderful laugh and sense of humor. He was a fine course leader who, from the beginning, shared his joy of film with us. He was a solid contributor who prepared interesting courses for the LLAIC membership.
    He will be deeply missed!

    Mary
