Meisler, Annabelle, 92, passed away early on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Kent County Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Walter Meisler. Born in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Cooper) Silverman, she raised her children in Cranston,RI before moving to Lake Worth Florida where she resided for 25 years, then GA for 10years, before moving to Narragansett, RI 2 years ago. She was a homemaker and found fulfillment in caring for her family. She also cherished time spending with friends.

Annabelle was a dedicated member of the DNC where she aided in the transition of the Obama administration of 2008. While in Florida for she volunteered for the Compass Community Center, which supports LGBTQ+ youths. Various social committees at Parc Alpharetta Ga.

Devoted mother of Julie Meisler, her partner Ted Torti, of Narragansett and Bernard, his spouse Jenny Wade, of Novato, CA. Loving grandmother of Robbie Canecchio, his wife LeeAnne of Alpharetta Ga., Arin Canecchio his fiancé Allison of Doraville, Ga.,  Daisy Meisler of Seattle Wa. and Lucian Meisler of Los Angeles, California. Cherished great grandmother (GiGi) of Ava Canecchio, star of the upcoming Disney TV series “That’s so Ava”. Aside from her husband and parents, Annabelle was predeceased by her son, Alan Jon Meisler.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to an animal humane society of your choice to respect her deep and long held affection for cats.
