Traugott, Harriet, 91, died on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Traugott for 54 years. Born and raised in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Pauline (Kanpczuk) Gold. She was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She was a volunteer guide and greeter for Miriam Hospital. She was a member of Hadassah and a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El.

Devoted mother of Charles Traugott and his wife, Sandy, and Robin Gersten and her husband, Gary. Loving grandmother of Jay Traugott; Kari Traugott, her partner, Eli Lakritz; Bethany Stangas, her husband, Nick; Kayla D’Agostino and her husband Paul. Cherished great grandmother of Harper, Hayley, and Maren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. Shiva will be observed in private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice, 1085 N Main Street, Providence or Temple Emanu-El, 99 Taft Avenue, Providence.
