Goldman, Richard, 66, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at home. He was the beloved husband of Loren (Lampal) Goldman for 30 years. Born in Providence, a son of Hy Goldman of Providence and the late Carole (Fields) Goldman, he had lived in Cumberland for over 20 years, previously living in Cranston. He was in mergers and acquisitions for Amwins for over 20 years.
Devoted father of Seth Goldman of Cumberland. Dear brother of Marion Wainer and her husband, Henry, of Mattapoisett, MA.
Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

To the Goldmans, I am so sorry to hear about Rick. He was a great man and I will always remember him. From hikes in the back yard, to football and sledding. He was a great guy and will be missed dearly. I am so sorry. With love, Daniel.
Cousin Rick, Your enthusiasm for life was epic There will be a void in everyone’s life who had the privilege of calling you a friend. You always energized the room . Our family has been diminished by your absence. I never thought that you would leave us. There is a huge void . You will always be in our thoughts.

I was so very sorry to read of Rick’s passing. I remember him with fondness growing up with my brother Neil and then as a caring, kind adult.

Loren, Seth and family: You have my deepest condolences for your immense loss. Working with Rick was always fun and entertaining. We just heard of Rick’s passing today and are devasted. He was
a wonderful and charming man, very positive and giving. It is
so difficult to absorb the news. Shocking to believe he has passed
away. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
George spoke to him once a week, he will be sorely missed
but never forgotten.
