Arleen Barber
Barber, Arleen, 86, of Villa Del Rio Apt’s., Warwick, died Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mollie (Bazar) Falcofsky, she had lived in Warwick for over 25 years. Arleen was a member of Temple Sinai, a former member of Temple Torat Yisrael and its Sisterhood and a life member of Hadassah. She was an avid bridge and canasta player and loved to read. Devoted mother of Robert (Sandy) Barber of Cranston, Marcia McGovern of West Warwick and Carol (Abbott) Wolfe of Highland Park, IL. Dear twin sister of Beverly Schafer of Dedham, MA. Loving grandmother of Lauren (Chad), Eric (Merrilees), Kelly-May, Drew, Ricky and Sarah. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI. Shiva will be observed at River Farms Clubhouse, 1 Krystal Pond Dr., West Warwick, Monday 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.

We are sorry for you loss. Arleen was delight to be with, as we spend much time together at the pool, and many other activities at the Villa. She will be sadly missed.
