Lewis J. Dittelman
Dittelman, Lewis J., 64, of Blackberry Lane, Grafton, MA, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Catherine (Herr) Dittelman, for 35 years. Born in Providence, RI, son of the late Elliott and Eleanor (Copelof) Dittelman, he had lived in Grafton, previously residing in Westborough, MA for 21 years. Lewis was a recruiter for business and finance companies for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Bentley College. Lew was heavily involved with the Westborough Players Club, Westborough Community Chorus and was a Westborough Cultural Council volunteer. Devoted father of Mark Dittelman and his wife Hilary of Shrewsbury and Eric Dittelman of Astoria, NY. Adored brother of Irene Sacks of Las Vegas, NV and Helen Dittelman-Dolan of No. Attleboro. Loving uncle of Rachael Dolan and Joe Herr. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in the PRIEST CHAPEL in LINCOLN PARK CEMETERY, 1469 Post Rd., Warwick, RI. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or the American Diabetes Assoc. To Lewis’s Family,
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We were in school together from Kindergarten on. I remember a whole bunch of us kids would go play baseball at a baseball court down near Eden Park.
