Annette “Honey” Pomerantz
WARWICK
Pomerantz, Annette “Honey”, 93, died on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Morton J Pomerantz for sixty-three years. Born in Providence, Honey was the daughter of the late Meyer and Fannie (Shulman) Silverman. Honey and Mort raised their family in Cranston before moving to Warwick. Most recently Honey lived at Tamarisk Assisted Living where she enjoyed painting, reading, playing bingo and mah-jongg. For over thirty years, she was a devoted elementary school teacher with the Cranston School Department. Honey was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a member of Temple Sinai.A devoted mother of four, she is survived by her children Lynne Pomerantz, of Warwick, Paul Pomerantz and his wife Judith, of Sharon, MA and Jill Goodman of West Warwick. Loving grandmother of Lindsay and her husband Jason, Reuben and Nathan. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Sheldon Pomerantz, and her dear brother, Everett Silverman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. Shiva will be observed at the home of Jill Goodman at 6 Starling Way, West Warwick, RI 02893, on Monday, July 31, 2023, through Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to West Bay RI, 158 Knight Street, Warwick, RI 02886.

I am so sorry for your loss!! I am a member of Temple Sinai and got to know Honey recently atTamarisk , as my dad is in Renaissance.. We had a long conversation sometime ago about Delray Beach Florida , she told me many details of her good times. She always greeted me with a lovely smile!!! A lovely lady!!!
