Nina was a gracious, elegant, and splendid person and I was so very sorry to read just now of her passing. She meant a lot to me, always hospitable and her, your, entire family were on my mind at the providence art club event on holocaust memorial day when my film was shown this past friday. so you all were on my mind. so very very sorry to lose her and hope you-all may find me come summer so that we can catch up and reminisce about her accomplishments in our community. again, our sympathy, regard, respect and love.

On behalf of the Gershman family, I wish to express our sincere condolences to Len and Michael and their families. David & Nina were an “adopted part” of the Gershman clan and they had a close bond with Edith, Ben and Zaide. Nina was a delight and full of life. She will be missed.

Lenny, June, Michael and family I’m so very sorry to hear the news about Nina. She and David were such wonderful people and growing up with your family in Narragansett are such fond memories for me. Years and years of beach days and the original gang of Canasta players will always stay with me. I remember as a child asking my Mom what the numbers were on their arms. To this day, I marvel at their strength and resilience to have lived through and beyond such a horrific experience. Your Mom was so sweet, loving and kind! My deepest sympathies and I hope that wonderful memories will comfort you. With love, Janie
