Kosofsky, Frank B., 93, died Monday, January 9, 2023 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Udovin) Kosofsky for 68 incredible years. Born in Providence, son of the late Jack and Margaret (Reminick) Kosofsky, he had lived in Cranston for over 50 years, previously living in Providence for his formative years. He was a produce manager for the former Chellel’s Supermarket in Barrington for many years, retiring in 2000. Frank was a Korean Conflict Army veteran, serving in Germany. Frank was a devoted member of the Jewish War Veterans, Post 409 and a member of the Hebrew Free Loan Association. He was a former member of Congregation Sharre Zedek and Temple Torat Yisrael. While an ongoing member of Temple Beth El in Fall River, MA.
Devoted father of Gary (Leila) Kosofsky of Easton, MA and Lori (Ed) Gerstein of Little Compton, RI. Dear brother of the late Evelyn Brown. Loving grandfather of Greg, Haley and Jessie. Cherished great grandfather of Jonah, Jacob and Luke.

Military honors and funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. Burial will follow at the Beth El Cemetery, 4620 N. Main Street, Fall River, MA. Shiva will be observed at his late residence at 57 Welfare Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910, Wednesday 5-7 and Thursday 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Temple Beth El, 385 High Street, Fall River, MA 02720 or the charity of your choice.

    We were saddened to hear of Franks passing. We have only great memories of the times we spent with him and his family and we will always miss him.
