Dear David – I’m so sorry about your mom’s passing. Please know we are thinking of you and your family at this time.
Although I did not get to see Eleanor a lot once I joined the family, when I did see her, I was always impressed with her fantastic memory and with all of the information she had about the family. She was a family person and never missed sending a card and/or calling on a birthday. She was a really nice person and will be missed by the remaining members of the family.
Eleanor, Mal and David were a big part of my life when I was a kid, as our families were so close we rarely spent a weekend or vacation apart. When I would run into Eleanor at the market or around town, she lit up as we reminisced about all the fun we had in New Hampshire or Martha’s Vineyard or Narragansett Pier. Thanks for all those great memories, Eleanor. You will remain in my heart.
Aunt Eleanor was a kind, compassionate person. She had a good sense of humor and a great laugh. She and Uncle Mal played a big role in my life when I was growing up. She led a good life and will be missed.
Eleanor and my parents and family and Mal were so close. After my parents passed we always stayed close. She was a wonderful, caring ,intelligent, loving woman. She will truly be missed.
Aunt Eleanor was such a special and wonderful person. We loved speaking with her and keeping her up to date on our children’s adventures. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion.
She meant a great deal to our family and will truly be missed. Now she can join her beloved Mal, our favorite Uncle, in heaven.
When I married David, Eleanor immediately opened her heart to me. She treated me as a daughter, and always remained an important part of my family. Eleanor was always generous with her time and love. She never hesitated to offer help or to let me know when she was thinking of me. Her presence in my life is truly invaluable I loved her very much and I will be forever grateful for the love and support she gave me.

As my brother, Marc, said, Eleanor, Mal and David were a big part of my our lives as kids and she and Mal were the closest of friends to my parents. Our traditional Sunday afternoons at Narragansett Pier during the summer months, our trip to Franconia Notch State
Park in NH, the movies my dad would take of the seven of us doing silly things, in particular at Jolly Cholly Funland and Eleanor being her funny, loving, smiley, self. You have left a legacy of love and friendship and your memory is a blessing to me and all who had the honor of knowing you. RIP dear Eleanor. Much Love
