WARWICK

Perlman, Stuart L., 80, died Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his home in Warwick. Born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Louis and Jean (Trommer) Perlman, he had lived in Warwick for many years, previously living in Providence and Cranston. He was a manager for the former Philip Wolfe Haberdashery, for 17 years, retiring in 1982. He later worked for Sam’s Club and URI Facilities for many years. Stuart was an Army Reserve veteran. Dear brother of his twin Gerald Perlman and his wife, Linda, of Mapleville, and Sharon McNerney of Las Vegas, NV. Cherished uncle of Keri Anthony (Jeffrey) and Stacey Perlman and great uncle of Caleb and Chloe Anthony.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Priest Chapel in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, 733 3rd Avenue, Suite 510, New York City, NY 10017.

    Stuart was my neighbor for 28 years. He was always nice and watched our house as we watched his house too! I will never forget the first time we met him and how he was always talking to us about all different things. He gave us items that we can use and always cherish as we cherished him and helped him out when he needed us. William Jordan and I will miss him and always be in our hearts ❤️. RIP Stuart

    I met Stuart at Philip Wolfe when I was working in downtown Providence back in the late 60′st through the 70′s. He was the nicest man and would always take the time to talk; share stories and a smile. May you RIP old friend.

    Stuart was a family friend and neighbor for many of us. I remember well the fireworks shows, generous sharing of candy and motorcycle rides for us kids in the neighborhood and Prince. He was a very good neighbor, friendly, caring and giving. He will be missed.

    He was a bit rough around the edges, but a softee inside. He would share stories about family members so that I could feel closer to them. We shared recipes because we both suffered from the same conditions. We never ended our conversations without saying “I love you”. I will miss my brother terribly. I love you Stu.
