Lenore B. Goldblatt
Lenore Goldblatt (Kaufman), beloved wife of Howard Goldblatt, passed away
peacefully at home on October 17, 2013. She was born in New York but lived most
of her life in Providence. She was the daughter of Charles and Mildred
(Goldstein) Kaufman.
She was the loving mother of Linda Breslin and her husband James of Providence
and Meryl Rose and her husband Robert of Alpharetta, Ga. Lenore was the loving
grandmother of Gary, David and Lisa Breslin and Sarah (David) Whited, Lauren
(Joe) Lain, Sarah (Corey) Peeples and Forrest Rose. Lenore is also survived by
her cousin Chet Kaufman.

Lenore was an Honor Roll graduate of Hope High School. She attended Roger
Williams College and was a longtime volunteer at the Miriam Hospital. She was
one of the founders of the R.I. Neurofibromatosis Association.
Lenore also worked for the Providence School Department.
Lenore touched the lives of all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be be held on Monday, October 21 at 11 am at Swan Point
Cemetery, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence. Shiva will be held following the
gravesite service and on Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm at the home of Linda and
James Breslin.
