Lenore S. Beranbaum

Beranbaum, Lenore S., 85, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Briarcliffe Manor. Born in Newark, NJ, a daughter of the late Leonard and Irma (Kaufman) Kwasha, she had recently moved to Johnston, previously a longtime resident of Wethersfield Commons in Warwick. She was a real estate agent and worked for her daughter, Irma, at Meme Frizzae.
Devoted mother of Holly Elkins and her husband, Donald, of Coventry, Sheryl Rothermel of Warwick and the late Irma Beranbaum. Dear sister of the late Owen Kwasha and Carol Sugarman. Loving grandmother of Dillon and Callie Rothermel. Cherished aunt of Kathy Hamilton.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Shiva will be private.

My heart is breaking to hear of Lenore’ s passing. I’ve known her since I was a little girl. She has always been good to me over the years and has a special place in my heart.

Dear Holly and Cheryl. My heart goes out to all of you. You know how Close Lenore and I were. I remember going to Talbot Manor to visit your mom and Dad. May she Rest In Peace. She had a rough ending. You were so good to her Holly. I am here if you want to talk or come to the pool. I think of Lenore everytime I drive by her condo. I miss stopping in and talk to her.She always said I Love You Bev. May her memories be a blessing.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lenore was one of the first people I met at Wethersfield. To know Lenore was to love her. I’m sure she’s happy to see her beloved Irma. God bless you all.
