Carl had a decades long relationship with my mom, the late Edna Rubin. I loved him like a friend and a father. His love for my mom, his sense of humor, his sharp observations and “ telling it like it is” attitude, his great affection towards me, my late husband and his children and grandchildren, made him a delightful man to know.
The very first time I met Carl, I was involved in a stressful situation. He came to my rescue, literally stood by me and emotionally supported me. How could I not appreciate and respect him always?
My sincere condolences to his family. He will be missed.
Passing along our condolences to Richard and Perelman family. Very sorry for your loss.

Your mom called to let me know of Dad’s passing. I remember many a day sitting in the house on Myrtle when Carl took his nap so he could play cards that night. My condolences to all Richard, Linda and your families.
To the entire Perelman family, my sincerest condolences for your loss.
