Mildred Sullivan Hoffman

Hoffman, Mildred Sullivan, 67, died Monday, March 18, 2019 at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William “Bill” Hoffman for 40 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Catherine (McCullough) Sullivan, she had lived in Cranston for 5 years, previously living in Providence. She was a freelance real estate appraiser and then a pharmacy tech at CVS Corporate in Woonsocket, retiring in 2014. Mildred was a graduate of URI.  She was a member of Temple Beth-El.  Devoted mother of Shayna Hoffman and Joseph Hoffman, both of Cranston. Loving owner of her dogs, Katie and Mitzi. Funeral services will be held THURSDAY at 1:00 p.m. in Temple Beth-El, 70 Orchard Ave. in Providence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Miriam Hospital Foundation, Development Office, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02901 or the cancer foundation of your choice.  Shiva will be observed at her late residence, 115 Rangeley Road in Cranston, on Thursday 6-8 p.m., Friday 3-6 p.m., and Sunday 2-5 p.m.

    We are sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. We have fond memories of our Havurah days. And we remember her kindness of providing a meal during our own health challenge. May her memory be a blessing.
