Stephen M. Woolf

DATELINE: NAPLES, FL

Woolf, Stephen M., died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Naples Community Hospital after a short illness.  Born in Providence, son of the late Reuben and Anne (Bazar) Woolf, he had lived in Bonita Springs and Naples, Florida for over 15 years, previously living in Staten Island, NY and Cranston.  Stephen attended The University of Rhode Island.  He was highly skilled in mathematics and the computer sciences and worked for many years as a computer programmer for IBM and later, while living in Staten Island as a computer programmer for the New York City Hotel and Restaurant Workers Union.  He is survived by his three children, Robin, Sheila and William; a brother, Carl and his wife, Susan; a niece, Rachel and her husband, Neill, and many grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the charity of your choice.  Shiva will be private.
