Marvin A. Brill

Brill, Marvin A., 89, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Florette (Molot) for 62 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late David and Anna (Scheidman) Brill, he was a lifelong RI resident. He was an administrator for the Bazar Group for 23 years, retiring in 2014. Marvin was a graduate of Classical High School, Class of ’46, Boston University School of Law, Class of ’52.  He also attended RI State College and was past president of URI Foundation.  Marvin was a member and past master of the Mason Redwood Lodge. Devoted father of Elissa Winter and her husband, Michael, of White Plains, NY, Kevin Brill of Arlington, MA, and Carrie Levine and her husband, Marc, of Cranston. Dear brother of the late Norman Brill and Bertha Hazen. Loving grandfather of Jordan, Malcolm, Travis, Zachary, Griffin, and Connor. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Miriam Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box H, Providence, RI 02901 or Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.  Shiva will be observed at 38 Oaklawn Ave., #304, Cranston, Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

    Our heartfelt condolences to Marvin’s family. We knew him from the gym at Healthtrax. He was always smiling and fun to talk with.
