Stella Pollock

Pollock, Stella, 95, of Steere House, Providence, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Steere House. She was the beloved wife of the late Reuben Pollock. Born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Kleid) Reitman, she had lived in Warwick for over 25 years, previously living in Cranston, before moving to Providence 6 years ago. Stella was a life member of Hadassah, past member of Temple Torat Yisrael, and member of the National Council of Jewish Women. Devoted mother of Debra Miller and her husband, Robert, of Warwick and the late Bruce Pollock.  Dear mother-in-law of Sheri Pollock of West Warwick.  Dear sister of the late Charles Reitman, Pauline Weinstein, Rose Salus and Faye Rosenwald.  Loving grandmother of Marissa, Marc, Dawn and Carson Jones, and Meah. Cherished great-grandmother of Braden.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to your favorite charity. Shiva will be observed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller, 16 Caverly St., Warwick on Friday from 1-6 p.m.
