Celia Dunder
Dunder, Celia, 92, of Warwick, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Greenwich Farms Senior Living. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Dunder. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Ulonofsky) Reichin, she had lived in Cranston since 1958, before moving to Warwick over 6 years ago. Celia was a WW-II Navy veteran, serving stateside as a Yeoman 2nd Class. She was a founding member of Temple Sinai and was a member of its Sisterhood. She was a life member of Hadassah and a member of the National Council of Jewish Women. Devoted mother of Barbara Dunder of Cranston and Pamela Dunder-Mann and her husband Ron of East Greenwich. Loving grandmother of Ryan Forman, Evan and Ashley Galkin and Jason Galkin and his fiancée Amy. Cherished great-grandmother of Hadley and Beckett. Celia was pre-deceased by 7 siblings. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the PRIEST CHAPEL at Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Rd., Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Mazon, 10495 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90025 or Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. Shiva will be observed at Greenwich Farms, 75 Minnesota Ave., Warwick, Thursday 4-8 and Friday 1-4 p.m.
