Harvey E. Goldman
Goldman, Harvey E., 84, of 132 Aurora Drive, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Faye (Tebrow) Goldman. They were married for 49 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Daniel and Bessie (Dress) Goldman, he had lived in Warwick for 48 years. He was a driver for Goldman Trucking Co. and several other trucking firms for many years. After retiring, he was the owner of Ocean State Wholesale for 15 years. Harvey was a Korean Conflict Marine veteran. He was a former member of Temple Am David, a member of Teamsters Local 251, Orpheus Lodge of the Masons, the VFW, Jewish War Veterans Post 23, and was an avid fisherman. Devoted father of Michael Goldman of Warwick, Steven Goldman and his wife, Nava, of Brooklyn, NY, Lori Mallette of Warwick and her late husband, Don, and Rhonda Goldman of Clearwater, FL. Loving grandfather of Daniel, Karley, Moshe, and Yehuda. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, MA 02140. Shiva will be observed at his late residence, Monday 6-9 p.m.
