Sema Ullian

DATELINE: Easton, MA Sema (Silverman) Ullian , formerly of Easton MA, passed away August 8 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Nursing Home after a period of failing health.  She was 84. Sema was born in Providence RI, attended Classical High School and Pembroke College (Brown University). Sema married Harris in 1951, lived in Syracuse, NY for a brief time before residing in Easton, MA for 55 years.  In 2005, Sema and Harris moved to Tamarisk Assisted Living in Warwick, RI. Sema was a multi-dimensional lady.  In the early 60’s, Sema was a Head Start teacher, involved in  UNICEF, the League of Women Voters in Brockton, active in the NAACP, serving as a youth advisor in addition to being a librarian and member of the Sisterhood at the former Temple Israel of...

Susanne M. Zucker

DATELINE: Providence Zucker, Susanne M., 65, of Lewis St., died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of Eva (Smith) Zucker and the late Julius Zucker. Dear sister of Donna Zucker, Harriett “Honey” (Charles) Krasnoff, Diane (Karl) Sudakoff and Samuel (Mary) Zucker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Shiva will be private.
