To all of Phil’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. He was kind to me during one of the loneliest parts of my life and when I was effectively a stranger to him. I’ve not forgotten that, and now that I’m in a position to pay it forward, I do, and I remember him.

    All my best,
    Tess

    Rest in peace Philip Borish,

I was Peter Borish’s freshman roommate at the University of Michigan. I met Philip in the fall of 1977. He was witty, sharp and understanding of young men.

    Sorry to see Philip pass.

    Dear Hope,
Feeling so sad hearing of Phil’s passing. He was so special! You both were such an inspiration as a couple for 67 years. Raising five amazing children, eight grandchildren, and eight great grand children, what an accomplishment! I will always remember, fun dinners in Chicago, times on the tennis courts, great conversations and Thanksgiving in Maryland.
Thinking of you Hope with heartfelt sympathy and prayers. Phil is with you always. Remember the love!
    Warm Hugs, Christine
