So very sorry for your loss
I met Norm when I was twenty-something years old when I worked at WLKW – more than 40 years ago. Up until that time I don’t think I had met such an elegant man in my life, and I’ve met very few since. I would run into him once in awhile, sometimes he was with his lovely wife; and he never seemed to change. Always dressed to the nine’s. He’s one of those people I will never forgot. My heart goes out to his loved ones at this difficult time

I first met Norm when I started my radio career at WLKW in 1986. He was the nicest and classiest man. Your radio family will miss you.
So saddened to read of Norm’s passing. I remember foundly his visits to his mom and dad’s summer cottage next door to our house summers on West Shore Road in Warwick. My dad loved listening to his wonderful voice on the radio. It brought back many memories of great neighbors over the years when we were growing up. I remember dad’s incredible stamp art pictures and mom’s delicious treats when I went over to visit as a child. Keeping you all in my prayers.
Sincere condolences to Lotta, and to Norm’s family. I have many lovely memories of Norm and his commitment to the Rhode Island Arts Community in general and the Rhode Island Philharmonic in particular.
FRIENDS; NORM AND I GREW UP TOGETHER,AND A FINER GENTLEMAN NEVER EXISTED. WE MET INTERMITTENTLY OVER THE YEARS AND HE ALWAYS WAS QUICK WITH A SMILE AND A KIND WORD. I SHARE YOUR SENSE OF LOSS.

I am so sad to learn of the passing of this eloquent and wonderful man. Working with him at WLKW was a joy and an honor. My deepest sympathy to Lotta and family.

Dear Lotta and Jagolinzer family,
We are very sorry for your loss.
May Norm rest in peace.
My condolences to the Jagolinzer family and friends. I have fond memories of Norm and Lotta attending numerous performances at Brown Summer Theatre and Brown Academic Theatre seasons.
May your memories give you comfort during these early days of grieving and eventually bring a smile and laughter.
im sorry to hear about norm’s passing . I can remember in my younger day’s my father taking me to the radio station when it was on north main street and seeing norm standing behind the mic talking.what a voice he had it was meant for the air waves. norm and my father were a great team.
Sincere sympathy to all Norm’s loved ones. He was a patient and considerate colleague, a man of talent, style and grace, and, most of all, a decent human being. There are very few such people in the egotistical world of broadcasting so Norm stood out in a very positive way and I, for one, considered it a pleasure to know and work with him. I hope those closest to him will find comfort in knowing that so many of his fans and co-workers will always remember him kindly and will miss him.
Our hearts are sad! Our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family! – The (Robert) Jagolinzer family

What a sweet, elegant man. I worked with him at WLKW and he was such a professional. RIP Norm and condolences to his family for what is such a huge loss.
Simply put, Norm was a special and wonderful human being who was a fixture in my life. My deepest condolences.
Mrs. Jagolinzer, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your husband Norm. I remember you very well from Norwood School. I had Pearl Sullivan for 1st grade. Your room was right across the hall! This was 1961-1962! You had my best friend John Wrenn. So long ago!! Olga Berker was the principle! Once again, so sorry for your loss. Shalom!
Norm and I met at Beacon Record Shop, and we both shared a profound love of classical music, be it artist or composer.
I will never forget his kind invite into the world of broadcast, which I did for classical and jazz.
The world of great music that thrives on it’s benefactors, if only for love, will be less nourished with Norm’s loss.
Take care Lotta, God speed.
I can’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner. I adored cousin Norm and loved Lotta who was always so sweet to me. I still have the stamp picture of the roses he gave to me on my 13th birthday..and the one he gave to my grandparents, Rose and Nathan Ostrov for their anniversary. I hope to hear from my cousins. So much has happened in all these years. I’m living in Seattle. The Pritzker cousins have my phone number. Sending love.
In November, 2018, and I just happened to come across that Norm had died. I knew Norm back in the early 70s when I worked for WPO-FM when it was a beautiful music station. Norm was a warm and wonderful person, and I am sorry to hear he passed away .
