Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Samuel and Rebecca (Feldman) Kroll, she lived in Warwick for over 7 years, previously residing in Providence. Rochelle was a member of the Hope Link. Devoted mother of David Goldman of Warwick and Cheryl Goldman of Leominster, MA. Dear sister of the late Saul Kroll and Lillian Segal. Loving grandmother of Kalica. Jane (Gumbiner) Silverman

Sarasota, FL Silverman, Jane, of Sarasota, FL and formerly Providence and Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2014 at home. She was the beloved wife of Alfred H. Silverman. She was a graduate of Hope High School and lived in Warwick as a homemaker prior to retiring to Sarasota. She was a past member of Temple Beth Am, as well as a past Sisterhood President. Devoted mother of Peter Silverman of Cranston, Julie Steiner and Laurie Moretti (David) of Sarasota, FL and Amy Edelkind (Shane) of Bradenton, FL. Alvin Ackerman

Leslie Popkin

DATELINE: Providence Popkin, Leslie, 66, died Friday, April 4, 2014 at Miriam Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Larry” Popkin.  Born in Springfield, MA, a daughter of the late Sol and Sally (Rosen) Kamin, she raised her family in Rehoboth, MA.  Leslie helped Larry run the family business, Rhode Island Aquarium and Pet Center in Providence, worked as an executive assistant at Bradley Hospital, and was a real estate agent with Century 21.  She was a graduate of Cranston High School East, Class of ’65 and Katharine Gibbs School, Class of ’67.  She was a former member of Temple Emanu-El.  Leslie was a woman with fine taste in fashion, food, and film, she had a passion for travel, and was a celebrated storyteller with an acute...
