Elijah and I were peers in Rhode Island College’s Media Center for the length of my college career. He was a genuine, well-balanced, fair person who would treat you with respect as equally as if you were an old friend, even if he had just met you. That sort of compassion and kindness only testifies to his wonderful parents, who can be very proud of their son.

Words can not describe this kind of loss. Elijah and I met at Rhode Island College my freshman year. He was always so welcoming even though I was a few years younger. We had also cross paths years ago at Camp Jori. Elijah loved music and he was one of the first people to book a show for me at Ben and Jerry’s when he was working there. I will never forget how much he encouraged me and how loving he was. I’m sending all his friends and family as much love as I can. He was an unforgettable man with so much heart. Peace be with you all.

    Love,
    Roz Raskin
