Zucker, Samuel H., 80, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Dartmouth Health Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Fish) Zucker for 43 years. Born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Julius and Eva (Smith) Zucker, he lived in White River Junction for 26 years, previously living in New Jersey for 20 years. He was an electrical design engineer with Dartmouth College, retiring in 2015. Sam was a Vietnam veteran, serving with the US Coast Guard in the Pacific Theater in the mid-60s. Sam was a member of the American Legion Post 48.

Dear brother of Donna Zucker, of Denver, CO, Harriet Krasnoff of Boynton Beach, FL, Diane Sudakoff of Alpine, NJ, and the late Suzanne Zucker. Devoted stepfather of Aaron Rabinowitz of Stroudsburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. Shiva will be observed at the home of Diane Sudakoff in New Jersey, Monday March 9, 2026  and Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

    My sincere condolences to Sam’s family. He was a classmate at Slater and West high school and I remember him as being a kind and thoughtful person.

    We are all sadden by Sams passing here at the EL shop we had a lot of fun working with Sam on many projects. Our condolences to Sams family he will be missed.
