Our deepest sympathies to you Louie and your family. May Nora rest in peace.
Deepest condolences to all the family. I have fond memories of Nora from the time she lived in Dartmouth. She welcomed me to the area when I moved there to work at UMass Dartmouth. I remember what a deeply caring mom she was to her young children. I missed her and Lou when they moved to Providence where they continued their dedicated contributions to community-building. May her memory be a blessing
Dear Nora’s loved ones, especially Jack, Leslie, and Alan,
My deepest condolences on Nora’s recent loss.
Nora and I were school and hebrew school classmates from nursery school until we graduated from high school. Some of my memories from those long-ago days encompass time spent at the defunct JCC, play dates at each others’ houses, Brownies and Girl Scouts, Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties, cheerleading at Keith Jr. High School, and many shared classes in high school. We did not stay in contact after graduation but would run into each other when on college breaks, and then when I would visit my family in New Bedford and in Dartmouth.
Nora was an extremely smart, kind, thoughtful and fun childhood friend. Without a doubt, I am sure that those traits endured through her life. We all have regrets in life, and I regret not maintaining our relationship over the years.
May you find comfort in your beautiful memories and may Nora’s memory be for a blessing.
Fondly,
Gayle Kroudvird Weiss, Arlington, Virginia
